Last Sunday, May 14, 2022, the Blessed Candida Maria Foundation officers and members organized a free Medical Mission at the Fourth Estate Subdivision, Paranaque. This area has been the beneficiary of the reach-out and extension programs of Manresa School for many years.
After two years into the pandemic, BCMF resumed its program of attending to the medical needs of people who are considered at the fringe of our society by way of offering free circumcision for boys from 10 – 16 years old. Around 134 boys, accompanied by their parents and/or guardians lined up early at the St. Candida Pastoral Center as recipients of this free circumcision event.

The BCMF members are in charge of post-operation orientation to parents and the distribution of medicine for take home.
More than 30 volunteer doctors from the University of Santo Tomas Hospital, Manila Central University Hospital, and Paranaque Medical Hospital came to serve, led by Dr. and Dra. Bermillo, BCMF officers. Srs. Cecile Solis, Nelida Peñaflorida, Alma Mae Zarriz, and Lee Uera joined the members and officers of Blessed Candida Maria Foundation: Mrs. Malou Villegas, Mrs. Arlene Untalan, Mrs. Aurea Articulo, Monique Manaze and Suzette Mirasol, while Mrs. Remia who was a mainstay at the pastoral center saw to the arrangement and organizational details of the residents of Fourth Estate.
